At the start of the evening news on Sept 26th , CBC provided an apology to David Xiao which is found on the attached clip (https://youtu.be/-H2HRVf4uXs). This defamation was based on patently inaccurate allegations made several years ago. Certain parties then used the misinformation to wrongly disqualify David from the federal Conservative nomination process. The defamation suit continues against several parties. It took far too long for this apology to be forthcoming but it is better late than never. We ask that IMC team members pass this note and clip on to others. Thank you.
