Todd Van Vliet is a lawyer, entrepreneur, and energy-sector executive with deep experience in oilfield services, technology commercialization, corporate governance, and business growth.
He began his career in general legal practice, then built his own private practice in litigation and corporate-commercial law, before moving into industrial refuelling and hydraulic fracturing technology.
Todd served as President and General Counsel of Environmental Refuelling Systems Inc. and later as CEO and General Counsel of Frac Shack International Inc. and Energera Inc., where he invented and expanded equipment designed to improve safety and efficiency in hydraulic fracturing operations across North America and Argentina.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from McGill University, a B.A. in Economics from the University of Alberta, and an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. His background also includes board leadership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada West and recognition through multiple entrepreneur awards.
