Nick Sekulic

Nick has proven and effective multi-disciplinary business and leadership skills. As the owner and manager of large scale cash crop and cattle farming operations since start up has demonstrated his capabilities in the areas of production management, marketing, finance, and human resource management. His knowledge of primary agriculture is also advanced through his six years supporting the regional business activities of leading global seed and trait technology firms. Having spent six years With North-South Trade & Investment Nick led and participated in project activities in the agriculture and agri-food, energy and forestry sectors. Additionally, in his position as Coordinator of Business Programs at Fairview College Nick was responsible for the leadership and instructional delivery of business programming and lectured in economics, managerial accounting, finance, computer technology and management information systems. Prior to joining Fairview College Nick held various position in the IT sector including a role as Branch Manager of an IBM business partner providing IT solutions to municipal governments based out of Calgary, as a Marketing representative with IBM Canada, and as a Management Information Systems Consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.
