Neil was also active in a business development role, expanding their membership base through direct calling and hosting of industry development events. He played a leading role initiating and leading the government advocacy program in Alberta and Saskatchewan for the steel construction industry, connecting their members with senior level Ministry staff and Cabinet Ministers.
