Greg has 20 years of senior leadership experience in the private and public sectors, working for and with governments, institutions and communities to develop and deliver on shared objectives. Working primarily in government , regulatory, military, and community affairs leadership roles, Greg has experience in a range of industries, including forestry, upstream and midstream oil and gas, mining and natural resources, and academia. While with the BC Public Service, he served as Executive Director with the Ministry of Education and Child Care, and with the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills, in both cases with a focus on ensuring the BC economy has access to talent and skills necessary to grow communities across the province. He is the President of BC Colleges, the association of 10 of BC’s public colleges. Greg holds a DPhil in Modern History from the University of Oxford, a Master of Arts from McMaster, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary, and a Diploma of Criminology from Mount Royal University. Greg serves as an officer with the Canadian Army reserve.
