Don is a professional accountant with 20 years of diverse financial experience in the energy NGL midstream and upstream sectors. As the Vice President, Corporate Planning at Provident Energy, he was responsible for mid‐ to long‐term planning as well as assessing the strategic and financial impacts of all business development initiatives. In addition to these roles, Don also provided market intelligence to the company’s Executive Team and Board of Directors. Between 2000 and 2012, Don was an integral part of the Provident team that closed $3.8 billion in acquisitions, which included almost $1.1 billion in NGL assets and culminated in the $3.8 billion sale of Provident’s NGL business to Pembina Pipeline.
