Bruce Williams

Bruce is a Vancouver Island–based engagement and economic development professional and former CEO of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, with prior experience as a broadcaster. He is the co-founder of Spark Strategic Group, which he operates with his wife, Amanda Wilson. Bruce has served as Chair and Board Governor of several not-for-profit boards, including as a fundraising capital campaign chair, and was a past Community Campaign Chair for United Way Southern Vancouver Island. He currently serves on the boards of BC Pavilion Corporation (BC PavCo) and the TELUS Community Board. Bruce brings experience in stakeholder engagement, economic development, and partnership development, supported by longstanding relationships with business, government, and community leaders. His contributions have been recognized through honours including the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal, the King Charles Coronation Medal, the 2023 Chamber Executive of the Year award from the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada, and Outstanding Volunteer of the Year from Vancouver Island University.
