Dr. Arman Hemmati is an engineering and applied technology advisor with over 16 years of experience in fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, and multiphysics modelling. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Alberta and holds the Engineering Research Chair in Emissions Reduction Technologies. He completed his BSc and PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary and his postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University. Arman brings technical expertise in computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, emissions reduction technologies, and engineering design across academic and industry settings. His experience includes prior work as an R&D Engineer at Royal Dutch Shell, partnerships with energy and aerospace industry leaders, and collaborations with organizations such as Los Alamos National Laboratory, Natural Resources Canada, the National Research Council of Canada, and Alberta Innovates.
