
Duncan has extensive experience and expertise in the fields of corporate sustainable development and regulatory and stakeholder relations. He has over 20 years of domestic and international experience in business and project development in the resource and environmental sectors, including forest products, energy (independent power), and primary metals (aluminum). Duncan has advised private and public sector clients, including the B.C. Ministry of Forests, regarding biomass-energy projects and related land use and environmental issues. He has experience with forest management operations and major projects with critical economic ties to First Nations and other ENGO stakeholders. He was an advisor for Iisaak Forest Resources, a Weyerhauser/First Nations joint venture developing a sustainable forest management strategy for Clayoquot Sound.
