
Milo has spent his entire career seeking challenging biological goals and sourcing novel technologies to assist in attaining said goals. This includes all aspects of reforestation from site assessment and preparation through propagule deployment and tending to linking reforestation outcomes to long term management objectives. He has worked extensively in land reclamation, agroforestry for remediation of damaged soils, and in the substantial changes in prairie agriculture over the past three decades.
Milo has also worked with many innovative technologies to both reduce and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. These range from carbon capture in trees through development and evaluation of biofuels – including numerous efforts to improve the efficiency of using renewable fuels.
