Rod Crockford

Rod has extensive experience in the electricity sector in Alberta. As President and CEO of EnCana Power and Processing, Rod was actively involved in a broad range of project development, commercial, operational, regulatory and public policy services. Rod has a successful track record in development and construction of power plants, management of ongoing operations, management of the procurement of load services, and regulatory interventions. Rod’s experience spans into British Columbia as he has been actively involved with the electrification of the Cabin Gas Plant generation facility, as well as distribution and transmission development in the Dawson Creek area. He participated in the study looking at electrical alternatives for the Kitimat LNG project, provided feedback on the Dawson Chetwynd Area Transmission (DCAT) project and has participated in the Integrated Resource Plan for BC Hydro.
