
Lloyd has decades of management consulting experience focused on CEO issues in agriculture, forestry, technology innovation, manufacturing and the rural economy. He has particular expertise in business improvement, including strategic improvement and restructuring as well as supporting systematic business development. He was previously the founder and President of AgriTrends Research Inc., which provided business and organizational development services in the public and private sector. Prior to that, he was hired as GM for a major agribusiness public company to operate agriculture, ranching and real estate assets, including restructuring and turning the division to profitability within two years while reducing overhead and expanding revenues. Additionally, he has Chaired several public hearings related to agribusiness, rural development and municipal development initiatives. He has served as the President of the Alberta Institute of Agrologists and Chairman of the Olds College Foundation. Lloyd has a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology.
