  • Province of Alberta

Project:

Client was exploring potential product applications using various straw formats.

Enhancement:

IMC completed studies on potential hemp and flax straw product applications, as well as a comprehensive assessment of the production of printing and writing grade pulp from wheat straw.

 

  

  • Micro-Algae Start-Up

Project:

Client required market and business assessment of their algae strain development start-up.

Enhancement:

IMC conducted a preliminary market assessment and business plan evaluating bio-fuel and non-bio-fuel opportunities from producing highly specialized strains of algae.

 

 

  • Province of Alberta

Project:

Client was evaluating various product opportunities using triticale.

Enhancement:

IMC conducted a market and competitive assessment evaluating bio-fuel, biochemical, bio-fibre and other co-product opportunities from triticale. The assessment led to the development of a producer value proposition, a market development plan, and research and innovation roadmap report.

Project:

Client requested a market assessment of wheat gluten.

Enhancement:

IMC conducted an assessment of the vital wheat gluten market in the United States, Canada and other key gluten markets. The assessment focused on determining the key market segments and then analyzing these markets, focusing on size and growth rate.

 

 

  • Start-up Ethanol Facility

Project:

Client was seeking to uncover initial insights into an ethanol production facility.

Enhancement:

IMC prepared a detailed information memorandum regarding a greenfield ethanol production facility, including the development of a comprehensive financial model and product market assessments.

 

 

  • Province of Alberta

Project:

Client was exploring the development of a biodiesel plant in Alberta.

Enhancement:

IMC conducted a pre-feasibility study which included developing a financial model for an Alberta based biodiesel plant.
