Kirsty Ross Joins the IMC Team

 

Kirsty has over 30 years of experience in the agriculture industry.  She was one of the first female District Agriculturists in Alberta working with farmers in rural Alberta on crops, livestock and financial management.  Later she began specializing in pulses and helped to create a field pea industry in Northeast Alberta with support from farmers, municipalities, research organizations and seed cleaning plants.  Kirsty then moved into business development in the bio-products sector and was part of a team that developed and implemented the Alberta Nine Point Bio-Energy Strategy.  She was the Canadian co-lead on the International Energy Agency - bio-refineries for 2 years.
